Orson&#;s background is unknown. He was discovered in a raccoon trap. We think that it was a great day for him, since this is what brought him to the pound and then to the rescue. His black coat had to be shaved because of matting and now looks like a teddy bear. The vet thinks he is around 4 years old and it was discovered that he is debarked.
Orson is a sweet, cuddle little dog, weigh in at under 10 lbs. He is good with other dogs, but could also live in a home where he the only dog. He is great on walks, and we are working on the house training. At the moment he is not too keen on going outside. He makes a great traveling companion in the car and overall is a laid back kind of dog. He has met the cat in the foster home without incident. Orson will need a home where someone will take good care of his fur as it grows back in and someone that is not afraid to take on the task of teaching him the finer points of house training. The pay off will be priceless.
